Welcome to the Florida East Coast Youth Series!
The series brings Florida Opti and 420 sailors together for fun, consistent racing and comradery. (The Open Bic fleet will not be offered for the current series due to lack of interest. If interest returns in the future, Open Bics will be offered in future series.)
All levels, including novice sailors, are welcome.
The emphasis is on seamanship, sportsmanship and fun.

About the Series
Founded in 2015 to create a vibrant youth racing scene on the Treasure Coast that would both increase sailors' confidence and foster lasting friendships, the Florida East Coast Series has grown to encompass sailors and teams from the Upper Keys to Daytona Beach. The series is comprised of 8 regattas per year. There is a 4 regatta fall series and a 4 regatta spring series. 125 sailors competed in our most recent series.
The Series is open to youth sailors aged 8 – 18. Adults may participate in the 420 fleet but will not be eligible to receive series trophies. All of the regattas in the series are stand-alone regattas as well as being part of the overall series. Each regatta score is compiled to determine the series winners – competitors do not need to register separately for the series.
The winner of the series in each class is awarded the Florida East Coast Series Champion Perpetual Trophy.
